Every mosaic is unique, piece by piece
And every work is made from handmade clay tile, hand-painted, and artist-assembled. No two tiles are quite the same. Every piece is imbued with an organic quality that only comes from traditional methods. It’s not the easiest or fastest way to make a mosaic, but it’s the only way to make my art.

When I discovered the beauty of ceramic tile, I became a mosaic evangelist. Two decades ago I sold my jazz CD collection to buy my first kiln. Now I produce the tile through my company Mercury Mosaics. Here you will find my personal passion projects made from upcycled ceramics that come from our manufacturing process.
