Mosaic Vista was an absolute joy to create! This was made during my research for Mosaic Candy Shop where I made endless mosaic landscapes - likely my favorite subject matter, next to abstract compositions, to make. The journey to figure out a landscape composition that would be endlessly beautiful while being interesting and filled with great, repetitive patterns was one I'd go on again and again.
The harmony between the tiny, hand cut tiles and the larger pieces made possible from my wet saw adventures gives me joy. I hope this piece sparks that for you as well.
Note: the edges are crisper than shown, my novice photo editing skills are coming through.
