The inspiration for this piece came from my appreciate of the four seasons in Minnesota. Although Autumn is becoming shorter and shorter between Summer & Winter, I deeply appreciate this transitional season and the beauty of the leaves turning. If there's one thing I can count on from Minnesota, it's my breathtaking scenery on a good fall drive out of the city. Priceless.

Repurposed Penny Round tiles from lululemon Village at Meridian in shades of orange & red no longer available in glaze - so extra, extra special.
Repurposed Penny Round tiles from a Portland kitchen in a shade of green - also no longer available, one that reminds me of my grandmother.
- Unique, mini Bubble-pierced Penny Rounds in Matador Red, a retired glaze making iconic pops throughout the trees. These are meticulously cut into the autumn foliage.
- Background blues repurposed from the former Stix mosaic collection, hand cut into flowing rows of light blue & Caribbean teals.
- Dancing tree trunks are made with hand cut pieces from the retired Stix mosaic collection in warm ambers and sparkling Jewel Brown.
